Large, very heavy duty set of thick cast iron with Art Deco styling. All swivel. By Divine Brothers, Inc. of Utica, New York, founded in 1892. Casters circa 1930.
• 5 1/4” overall height
• 4” diameter wheels
Refurbished and customized for Maureen:
• Scoured with power wire brushes to remove rust. One caster wheel rusted to axle bolt was subjected to rust penetrant, propane torch, vise, wrenches and sledgehammer to free up, then all axle bolts were scoured to remove rust for ease of spinning. Ball bearings subjected to rust penetrant, intense load and speed to remove rust for smooth swiveling.
• Black rubber tread adhered to wheels. Worn blue-green paint effect created with faux oxidation accent.
• Moving parts lubricated. Ready for installation.
