Set of four EXTRA LARGE, extra heavy duty swivel casters- model C46-06 by The Nutting Truck and Caster Company of Fairbault, Minnesota, circa 1960s. Extra thick cast iron wheels in thick, hand-forged steel forks. Two concentric ball bearing raceways to better handle both vertical and horizontal stresses for optimum performance. Roller bearings in wheel hub for smooth rolling.
• 7 1/2 inch overall height
• 6 inch diameter, 2 inch wide wheels
• 5 x 5 1/2 inch mounting plates
• 900 lb load rating per caster per original catalog entry; please consider their current age and wear.
Good operational and structural condition. Have received a cursory cleaning- soaked in degreaser, then scrubbed with scouring pads and wire brushes to remove loose rust, dirt and factory grime. Remnants of original green paint with extensive oxidation, crusty paint, overspray, etc….far from pristine for that ultra-mancave effect. Moving parts lubricated.
