1880s' set of four cast iron swivel casters- model No. 186 by Payson Manufacturing Company of Chicago, IL. They retain most of their original goldtone painted finish (very rare). New wood mounting screws included.

• 2 3/4 inch overall height
• 2 inch diameter, 7/8 inch wide wheels
• 2 1/8 x 3 1/8 inch mounting plates

Near pristine operational, structural and cosmetic condition, looking as though they received very little use and have been extremely well cared for over the past 140 years. Carefully cleaned to remove loose rust, leaving a luscious aged patina. Moving parts lubricated.
