Refurbished set of four casters- Model No. 3 by Payson Manufacturing Company of Chicago, IL, dated 1871. Rare, double wheel design with hardwood wheels to be kind to your flooring. Swiveling and self-leveling- wheel assembly tilts from side to side, keeping wheels in contact with uneven surfaces. Remarkably retaining most of their original coppertone finish.
• 2 inch overall height
• 1 1/4 inch diameter wheels in 2 inch wide forks
• 1 5/8 x 2 1/4 inch mounting plates
• New wood mounting screws
Finish and wheels show minor wear, but otherwise in great operational and structural condition. Refurbished- gently scrubbed with wire brushes to remove oxidation, wood conditioner applied to wheels, and moving parts lubricated.
