Antique set of swivel casters of thick cast iron with brown ceramic wheels. Exceptionally rare, large size. Small circular mounting plate and thick stem make these ideal for secure mounting to slim table legs. Made in England, circa 1880s.

• 2 1/4 inch diameter, 1 3/16 inch wide wheels
• 2 1/4 inch diameter mounting plates with 1 3/4 inch long, 7/8 inch diameter stems
• Includes new wood mounting screws

Exceptional condition, looking to have received only very gentle use! Great operational condition with wheel assemblies swiveling beautifully in mounting plate stems; wheels roll easily. Cosmetically, original black painted finish shows extremely minor wear. Ceramic wheels show light wear to face; two wheels each show a shallow chip at the hub on one side- see close-up.
