ABOUT Set of four double-wheel Martin Patent Casters, Model No. 2, still in their original cardstock package. Exceptionally rare.

• 1 1/2 inch overall height
• 1 inch diameter wheels in a 1 5/8 inch wide wheel assembly
• 1 3/8 × 1 7/8 inch mounting plates
• Includes new wood mounting screws
MAKER Phoenix Caster Company of Indianapolis, IN
MATERIAL Cast iron with Phoenix Caster Company’s “bronze” (antique coppertone) finish.
CONDITION Unused new old stock in near pristine condition. Retains all its original coppertone finish; this ultra-thin finish quickly wore off or rusted away completely on used casters. Box shows wear and deterioration.
HISTORY Circa 1880s
