Am excited to offer a few more of my one-of-a-kind vintage industrial gear tabletop displays!

I first select a pair of industrial gears which complement each other. These are made of cast iron and date from the late 1800s to early 1900s- a real piece of American history with an aged patina that tells its story.

I scour them with power wire brushes to remove thick rust and grime that has accumulated over the several decades. They are then hand washed and I handcraft a custom display stand of aged reclaimed lumber, cutting grooves in its surface to accept each gear and hold it upright. The gears can easily be removed for close-up viewing.

These make for a fun little display for a shelf or tabletop.
