Danielle’s Primitive Table Kitchen Island

Danielle’s Primitive Table Kitchen Island accented with Iron Anarchy casters

Get inspired by this ultra-cool antique table kitchen island!

Danielle of Washington DC contacted Iron Anarchy looking for a set of casters for her antique table. She needed fairly large casters to raise it to the appropriate height, but yet they also had to fit narrow legs, not damage flooring, and be able to lock the table in place, as well as complement the look of the antique table.

We suggested an old style iron spoked-wheel caster. It had a stem to be inserted into the leg for secure attachment, a rubber tread to be kind to her flooring, and a brake feature to lock it in place. We created a custom aged patina to match that of the table.

Check out the end result!….so cool! Love the table’s rustic look and am humbled to have our casters on this wonderful piece!
