Large Antique Industrial Wood Foundry Wheel Mold Wall Art

Excited about this recent acquisition of this HUGE antique wooden wheel. It’s the hand made model from which a foundry would then make the mold to cast them in iron. They are quite rare, since only 1 would be made, but dozens (hundreds?) of metal ones then cast. Has an amazing aged patina of colorful worn and flaking paint. Metal ID numerals. Its lightweight nature makes it easy to decorate with.

Measures a whopping 39” in diameter.
